I was often stopped in past at U.S. Airport by Customs and Border Protection for white-collar crime involvement (which was government entrapment anyhow) from 15 years ago. An immigration lawyer that makes you believe that he will help you with all he can, bull crap. My brother was detained on a visiting visa when entered the US, he was questioned and assumed he is coming to work in the us. No crime whats so ever was committed, he was just denied entry. Vinesh Patel made us feel this is common and he will help in letting him enter, then he came back after couple of weeks and said he will help in volunteering removal, few weeks later he came back and said my brother is going to be deported. We paid $1500 for nothing. The case took more than 8 weeks and I only was able to speak to Vinesh himself 2 or 3 times (full of hopes for noting)...Find someone else who really cares.
