I would give NO stars if possible. Avoid this guy at all costs. Used him as a divorce lawyer. Expensive, draws things out longer than necessary to make additional $$$, incompetent - couldn't get names correct, etc. Had very condescending and rude assistant, Marie. I questioned several times if he was working for me or my spouse! There are much better attorneys -- do your homework and check them out!!!

This attorney is very slow returning phone call, causing impacts to family and court decisions.
Dustin L. Payne missed several court appearances causing hardship on resource to re-scheduling.
Although, Mr. Payne continued submitting monthly false billing, He was NOT able to provide proof of his services performed.
Also, Original documents were not returned that he signed for via certified mail.

Can't get copies of documents filed and never a return phone call. Fees over $7500 from my daughters trust fund. Not sure if this attorney was working for my incompetent and severely retarded child or if Mr. Payne was working against my child with Bank trying to keep my child from excessing her trust fund. Hard to say since I was never allowed to speak with Mr. Payne, never received a return call, and never saw 1 document that was filed. Not recommended to anyone ever. Of course, I did Not hire this attorney, my child's bank just does as they please with her money. Still have not RECEIVED 1 document filed just big chunks of money paid to Dustin Payne by of course the bank although they have forgotten that trust fund is NOT THEIRS TO DO AS THEY PLEASE. Taking advantage of a retarded child! Shame on you and that evil bank.
