I hired Mr. Asmar at the beginning of 2017 for my asylum case.. I just had an interview in Chicago office last week and I’m now waiting for the decision..

- I was pretty satisfied with the services provided by Aziz Asmar's Law offices. I applied for Asylum in Nov. 2015 and received my approval in July 2017. Throughout this period, I received the appropriate advice and guidance by my attorney's office regarding applying for an Employment Authorization, filling out certain governmental documents, answering my questions in an efficient and timely manner. Everyone in the office dealt with my case with a high level of professionalism. I spent a whole week going over and preparing my case with multiple lawyers at the office to avoid missing any nuances and deliver the whole truth to the USCIS. Everyone understood and addressed my concerns and worries, especially that I was acclimating to a new environment and a new country.
- I believe what makes this office a unique one from other immigration law offices is the well distributed workload and meticulous handling of paperwork. In addition to the highly efficient lawyers, I believe this office's main strength lies in the hands of its office manager (Mr. Ammar Asmar). - I don't believe I have any negatives points to mention except for the "perceived" high prices charged by the office but it is truly justified by the services they provide. However, the only thing that any client needs to know regarding applying to Asylum in the US is the following: The lawyer will help you prepare, write and submit your application and follow up with the USCIS regarding the processing of that application. The lawyer doesn't have the power to grant you Asylum. It is up to you to tell the truth and convince the immigration officer that your case is valid and your fear from going back to your country is justified.

Once I got to USA, I met Mr. Aziz. He was so straightforward, honest, and informative. What he told us in the first half hour of our meeting , is what we got throughout the process. We got our asylum approved in a smooth process with no problems. He also has a great staff. His staff always ready to answer your questions within one or two business days. Not professional lawyer. I called Mr Asmar for consultation regarding asylum, he said that since you are Iraqi so the asylum office will consider this!! what he wanted to say is: being iraqi means you will grant asylum. This is absolutely incorrect and he is deceiving his Iraqis clients by convincing them they will grant asylum just because they are from Iraq. I didn't appoint Mr Asmar and found another lawyer.
Mr Asmar is also telling his clients to submit their asylum cases to San Francisco office and therefore the client should have an address in this district. One of his client whose name is Ali Al-Nuaimi was living in San Diego but he mentioned his address in Sacramento. Ali said his lawyer advised him and the lawyer knows he was not living in Sacramento.

I had applied for asylum through Aziz Asmar office and it was a pleasure to meet him and his colleagues they are honest, cooperative, they respond within a short time when i sent my quires, they really have good experience with asylum.
