I filed for bankruptcy in 2017. It was discharged a couple months later. Fast forward to 2019, I find out I am being sued for a discharged debt stemming from a hospital bill of less than $1000 which I disputed back in 2017 when I received the bill after my discharge. This attorney, despite knowing via my response that I no longer live in Glynn county and that traveling to Brunswick is a hardship, still wants to pursue a lawsuit against me for a bill i do not owe under federal law. Both the bankruptcy discharge and indigent care policies dictate that the hospital cannot collect on this bill. But this attorney could care less about following the law. I will be reporting him to the bar association. I lost my new job because I had to take time away from work to deal with this harassment. I cannot afford to travel to defend myself against these unscrupulous tactics!

Attorney agreed to a payment plan through court order, after 4 payments went to another county court to file for paycheck garnishment of inflated amount to include his own fees.

Very disappointed in how he handles business. He does not care about clients or outcome of cases. Could not provide documentation as requested. Very unorganized and only cares about bottom line. But then again, typical attorney. Lies and cheats to please his own interest. Would not recommend if you want someone caring and understanding.
