Facts: This lawyer demanded $5,000 before he would do any work. He filed the initial paperwork. He did no research. He did not get a timely court date. It took two years to get a court date. While waiting for a court date, the business was closed in Creola. The vehicle was hidden in a new location. Additionally, the business was closed in Satsuma. In court, he did not have in his mind, on a piece of paper, or where ever the total amount of money involved. After the Order was issued, for the vehicle to be returned etc, he did not advise his client to go to the court and ask for and pay for a Certificate of Judgment. Then take it to Recording and pay to have it recorded. This lawyer would not answer any phone calls or return any phone calls after the Order was issued. After the 10th call, to find out about the business that closed, this lawyer called with an attitude and personal unprofessional behavior. After reporting him to Alabama Bar, he sent documents to the Bar, never shared with his client. He never knew where the new location was of his client's automobile. Then he sent a notice to the court to quit the case. Seems he quit the case after he got the $5,000. Does Mobile have any honest lawyers? This lawyer is not recommended.
