I believe when a person buys any legal services from an attorney, that service should come with a superior level of customer service. Something that is rarely seen amongst a legal culture dominated by arrogant & inconsiderate attorneys.

With that being said, I really appreciate how Michael Ufferman handled my case. As a black man claiming "stand your ground" I knew that I would need his appellant expertise early in the process, so we got him involved with my case months before closing arguments and almost a year before filing an appeal.

Michael was the epitome of a humble servant the entire time. He listened exactly to what I told him and translated it very persuasively into court language. When we sat down to discuss strategies and tactics, he always asked for my permission and approval before he submitted or did anything. His mentality and behavior was exactly what I want and expect from any lawyer. Michael filed 5 postponements of case and did not call me to notify me of the results of the appeal. He also told me to toughen up when placed in solitary confinement for 7 months. Totally lacks integrity and knowledge in appeal cases.
