Very unprofessional! My case has been going on for 4 years now and he doesn't return phone calls at all! I wish I would've never dealt with him.

He very unresponsive , i paid him out over 2-3 years ago and still don’t know nothing about my case , nobody never pick up phone or he never in office

used Kevin Steel or Steele for years, was a good man then! Don't know what the issue is now but he has been unprofessional lately! For legal reasons I am not saying he did or do any of these questions I am referring 2, but after my experience with him and 3 other lawyers, this is my own opinion of what I would ask any lawyer I hire from now on.
Ask them what is he/she settlement cut percentage? Win loss percentages as well.
Ask he/she if they have malpractice insurance?If they cannot provide malpractice insurance up front, go find some one that has a insurance provider with number and is willing to give it to u before signing any documents with any lawyer!
Ask how well he/she holds documents?
Ask about his/her appearance in court?
Ask he/she what is the best way to contact on means of communication?
Ask what is he/she response time on communication?
I would record conversation, beginning to end. Right after i hit the record button, I would make sure to tell he/she in my records that I am recording them. I would also record every contact I made with them, and every contact they made with me.
Ask he/she any court dates, and show up to them myself just for my own piece of mind.
Ask if he/she would settle a case without his/her client knowing the amount?
Ask if he/she would take money for a settlement without client knowing, and have no intention on telling the client?
Ask him/her if they go by 2 last names and what name is on their malpractice insurance policy?

This is the worst attorney ever. My husband and I keep calling and leaving messages (because they NEVER answer the phone) and no one ever calls back. It has been 4 years he has had the case and we have not heard anything from them since December of 2015. We have called and called and called. It is hard to get to their office as we work for a living. I would not recommend him to anyone...
