BEVERLY MCDARIS

We hired this attorney to represent us in an adverse possession case. He said he was experienced in real estate matters. We provided data including surveys, deeds, title searches at his request, copies of correspondence, etc. He at first said we had a great case for adverse possession but began to back off as time went on. We paid his retainer up front and $1000 at the beginning of the next 3 months for a total of $6,000. He claimed he never got various emails and phone calls and we could not reach him for 2 weeks at a time on 2 occasions. We did 95% of the research for him but it’s doubtful that he read or researched any of the data. The only positive thing he did for us was place a call or 2 and one visit to the courthouse for documents we had already provided to him. We agreed to terminate our agreement with him and had to seek new counsel for our situation. We would not recommend this attorney.
