I definitely do not recommend her at all.
I was fighting for my son’s custody when we had the first meeting with the other party and the mediator to get into an agreement she acted like she didn’t care she was not doing no talking to defend my side and she was trying to make me sign something I was not comfortable with and it was like I had no lawyer representing me.( Btw she was late for this meeting)
I was undecided to keep paying her after that meeting She drop off my case for being late on that payment.
Not just that she gave all my documents and all discussions I had with her in private and in confidential to the other lawyer which he used against me.
Thanks to her I lost custody of my child sad part of it that the father of my child laughed at me and said that lawyer helped us win with all the help she provided (documents she gave them).
Bad lawyer don’t use her at all she says she will help but if you’re late on a payment she will turn on you and give everything she has of you to the other lawyer to use against you.
A lawyer is paid to represent you no matter what and if he or she decides to drop off the case they shouldn’t hand no documents against you to the other party to harm you more.

Wow, where do I start, she was so unorganized in court, she was horrible. She would call me the day before to let me know I had to go to court ,and when i called her ,she would never return my calls, even one time the receptionist hung up on me ,because she was tired of me calling.
I tell you lawyer are something else ,but this one you will waste your money like I did.
I do not recomend her at all.

She herself is very nice and polite, BUT she politely lies to your face as well!!.. When I went to her I explain my case and made her understand that I only wanted the other party involved to be put in jail I didnt want any money or any arrangement, I asked her if that was possible, her response was "certainly, we can make that happen" (which did not at all happen) so two for one I also hired her for my divorce(bad mistake),, first court date came around she called me the day before to remind me I asked her if I needed anything she said " no, just show up to court and look pretty" I was confused and uncertain ( basically I felt no reassurance obviously when you go to court for any reason you want to feel some type of peace or ever confidence everything would be alright regardless) I wasn't well informed I felt like everything was up in the air, docket was called at 8am she didn't show up until 15min till 12p I kept calling her office the very rude response I got from who ever answered the phone was " I dont know where she is at, your just going to have to wait until she shows up" what do you mean "yeah, just wait" I was beyond upset she finally shows up. I wasn't involved on any of the negotiations two hours went by she called me out of court and basically said this is what's going g to happen sign here there wasn't a "what do you think, are you okay with this" I wasn't involved in anything she basically decided what was best in her eyes I was very angry because I did t want to go thru court for an outcome that did t benefit me!! That same day I paid off the remaining balance for her services, a month later I received a copy of court documents that were going g to be submitted for my divorce both my childrens names were spelled incorrectly as well as their DOB, which I had already addressed with Ms.Curtis at the initial meeting, but I guess she never got around to addressing the problem, in a letter sent with those documents it stated if there was a problem with what was being h submitted to call and notify them, so I did I called her office explain to the first person who answer her response " oohhh, hold on I don't know what your talking about" I was placed on hold for 38 min someone else came to the phone "WHAT ARE YOU ON HOLD FOR?" I explain to that person as well she said " what are you talking about I haven't sent you anything" she took my information placed me on hold again for 23 min she came back on the phone " I dont know what your talking about I don't even have a file on you are you sure it's from use" I was aggravated at this point I told her are you kidding me it has your letter head your address and obviously I got your phone number off the letter " well I don't have a file on you so I'll call you back" I told her you didn't even take my number and if you do t have a file on me how are you supposed to call me back " oohhh, well hi e me your number then" I told her i did want her calling me back I wanted Ms.Curtis to return my call " well she's not going g to call you back she is busy and wo t have time" two months went by I did t hear anything back second court date came around Ms.Curtis gave me a call notifing me I asked if she ever received my message of me requesting her to give me a call she said no I explained to her what happened and that I wasn't very happy about it and she just brushed it off like if she was use to it, it's court day again and I show up an hour late this time she was still not there when calling her office I received the same response at that point it was ridiculous I just wanted to be don't!!!.. I honestly felt that it was as if I was representing myself not knowing what's going on not having answers, maybe I was better off doing so!!! It was as if I paid her just to say I have a lawyer but wasn't being represented in any way!! Dealing with her and her office was extremely nerve racking and unsettling!!.. I would not recommend her!

Rosalind is great. This is my 3rd time using her and she has pulled through each time. Great lady, respectable.

13 years ago I used Rosalind Curtis as an Attornery to represent me in a custody case. Might be modifying custody arrangements all these years later so I’m looking up reviews for attorneys and I thought I would check out my old lawyer’s reviews because my experience was SOOOOOO BAD. Seems my case wasn’t unique and she is still the same.
Back then I was very young and going through an ugly custody battle. I was broke and scared. Rosalind Curtis was very reassuring during our consult. My mother had even come along and Mrs Curtis made us feel like she would fight for us.
When it actually came down to it, she did show up to the court room a little later than the other attorney. When it came time for our case to be heard she did not mention ANY of the things we needed to address and have the judge hear. This continued to happen. She did not fight for our case at all. She rolled over and let the other attorney have his way. My ex would laugh at me and tell me that his lawyer said my lawyer is known for losing.
Hiring her was the worst decision. Going through a stressful time like that she only added to the stress of the situation. I do not recommend her services. And now 13 years later there are internet reviews where we can leave warnings for others not to make the same mistake. Wish I had known back then.

Curtis is the worst lawyer I have ever dealt with. This was a family case in an emergency situation involving a child and she did absolutely nothing. She never would answer the phone and I could only contact her receptionist. She didn’t want to give me a refund until I contacted the Texas State Bar. DO NOT USE HER. LISTEN TO ALL THE PEOPLE TELLING YOU THE SAME THING!

DO Not ever hire this attorney all she will do is take your money and completely lie to you. I hired her back in July 2016 to do a Quadro for me in which she said was no problem. It was a time sensitive matter it had to be done in a 180 days she lied about when she filed it, I had to end up going to court myself and following up on it to find out she had never filed it when she said she did d. Her staff is the most rudest people I have ever delt with they hang up on you and also lie about everything. I had to end up hiring another attorney because she does not know what she is doing. I read some of her reviews after I hired her and they were the worst. Please don’t ever hire her they are running a scam out of her office just take your money and leave you out to dry.
