I was recommend to Mr Alford for a ridiculous charge that I received. It was false and something that never should have even happened to me. I was recommended to Matt and went to visit him and explain my situation. He read the complaint and also agreed that it was an erroneous charge. I hired him and paid him up front because he told me this will not be a long drawn out case having to return to court many times. Well he was correct, the next count date after he entered my not guilty plea the case was thrown out! I cant recommend this man enough! I called Mat Alford seeking legal council under the direction of my local firearms retailer after my explaining situation to them. They told me my best bet would be to call a gun attorney. I found mr. Alford through a google search. The first time we spoke the call disconnected; i think he hung up on me. After redialing about 10 times he answered again. I explained to mr alford my concern, at which time he explains to me how jobs work, and that he likes to get paid for answering questions. I told him payment would be no problem and that i would just like my legal guidance over the phone as i have no case against me and the totality of my required legal guidance would be answering one question. After mr. Alford failed to responed, I ended the call.
Much of this account is irrelevant as the core facts remain. A potential paying customer called seeking simple legal advice and was recieved with a rude attitude, shortness, and a general lack of help.
