I am a retired corporate/securities lawyer living in Rockport. I am doing some pro bono work that involves a complex real estate matter. I found an excellent, relevant article on-line written by the Silberman firm, and I called the firm's San Antonio office with some questions. I reached a very knowledgeable attorney immediately, and he consulted with me on the spot. He was able to answer my questions and offered to provide sample documents for my use. I was quite impressed with the excellent quality of the advice and the responsiveness. I own property in Hays County, and if I ever need the services of a real estate attorney in that area, I will certainly use the Silberman firm. I highly recommend them.

Firm is a total joke. They don't respond to emails or voicemails in a timely manner. Numerous messages were left, but no response was provided by the firm. I've washed my hands of them and advise anyone looking for a good lawyers firm to do the same. I would highly recommend not using this lawfirm. My attorney wouldn’t return phone calls or respond to emails. When I attempted multiple times to contact Mr. Silberman he told me that he does consults all day and didn’t have time to take my phone call. I wish I could give them a -5 stars.

Great advice... Mr. Silberman answered our questions in a few minutes and guided us in right direction.

Phil Silberman sounded knowledgeable about eviction law when we talked to him. On that basis, we hired his firm and paid a $2,500 retainer as demanded by Mr. Silberman. A few days before the trial date, we were informed by Mr. Silberman that were being assigned another attorney, Chris Heald, who turned out much more junior and far less seasoned. It became apparent in the hearing that Mr. Heald was not well schooled in eviction nor real estate law. After the case was dismissed in the Defendant's favor (Chris lost the case), he informed us that he had used up the entire retainer in preparing for the case and reading up on eviction law. We were dissatisfied with our experience with this law firm because of the attorney's inexperience and complete disregard for our costs. If you value your money, don't invest with this firm. Here's an email from the firm. The attorney wrote a lengthy response to this review below, probably spending 2 possibly even 3 hours writing and editing it. I'm not saying it wasn't a difficult case, I'm saying I was overbilled.

This law firm is the best! I was searching for advice and representation on a case. I interviewed several firms and this firm was the most reasonably priced and professional. Chris Heald's, attorney, advised me on my case. I could clearly see I was in good hands! They weren't about the money but about good ethical service. In the end my case was dismissed as a nonsuit and I received most of my retainer back!! Other firms tried to scare me with horror stories and large fees. I would recommend this firm to any and all looking for great high quality ethical service that is all about the client!!

Be very careful with this law firm. They failed to meet the courts requirements and forced my case to be dismissed. They cost me 13,000 and they only gave me me back 3,000 which was a slap in the face for the 2 years I had to wait to go to trial. Good luck with these guys
