Michelle Fulton is a terrible attorney. I hired her as my lawyer in my divorce and she always had an excuse when she and I were suppose to meet to finalize my divorce. Then, she wanted to charge me more because the divorce was taking so long. Furthermore, my former husband's attorney was running for a judgeship in Harris County so Michelle said she did not want to make his attorney mad because she may have to go before her some day AND she (Michelle) felt she had to pick her battles. Several of her other clients as well as myself have made complaints to the State Bar of Texas against Michelle Fulton. I hope this post helps others not to go through the grief I went through with Michelle Fulton.

Prompt and punctual. Got me divorced faster than we thought. After we finished meditation it was a done deal. Just had to wait till the 60 days passed. Seems like that was the hardest part. I really like the way they deal with the kids too. Treated them like their own.

I hired Michelle to fight for termination of my daughters biological fathers rights and for my husband to adopt my daughter. She faught for us and the judge granted the termination. I hired this attorney to modify a parent child relationship order where a child was in danger. After several months of neglect, evasiveness, deeply questionable ethics (discussed the case with another party without my consent) I realized Michelle Fulton was a lemon attorney who lacked integrity. I hired another attorney who settled the case in two weeks. I made this same rating on another social media; as you might guess the rating was removed. I wonder how many of these ratings are authentic?

It is not often when you go in to see an attorney about a case and decide to work for them afterwards. That is what happened to me. I found Michelle to be compassionate; trustworthy, knowledgeable, hard working, dependable and personable. She works tirelessly for her clients. This is how she is for all of her clients. Wonderful attorney. Michelle represented my husband to handle his custody modification in Harris county. We were dealing with a very high conflict ex. Lots of contempt charges and even an assault. Michelle helped us navigate all of it gracefully and in a way that was most befitting to us and my stepson. Her interest was always what was best for my stepson and what was the correct legal thing to do. She was very easy to get a hold of and always emailed us back quickly. I think that Michelle was very understanding and fought so hard for my husband's rights because she is a stepmom herself and was clearly able to see both sides of the situation. Regardless of that, however, she did not ever hesitate to tell us the truth whether it's what we wanted to hear or not and for that I am thankful. In a custody proceeding, people pleasing answers are not what you need. What you need is straightforward facts and excellent guidance and that's what she gave to us. She caught things in my husband's situation that only a seasoned attorney would notice and because of this my husband ended up getting 99% of what he wanted out of mediation and prevented us from having to go to court. It all worked out beautifully thanks to Michelle. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a family law attorney, and especially to dads who are fighting for their parental rights!!

I met Michelle in 2002 when we worked for the same Firm for a time . Years later, Michelle was hired for my then boyfriends custody case. Unfortunately sometimes the judges don’t believe the evidence is enough to warrant a change from the mother , which happens all the time. This had been the case 8 years earlier with a different attorney . Second attempt with Michelle was started . No attorney can determine how a judge will rule and we knew it would be tough. Luckily for him, the petition and affidavits were key. Mom settled before court due to the preparation of affidavits and research Michelle had done regarding such a major change. We would not have been successful had it not been for her hard work. opposing counsel knows Michelle will not settle just to forego a court battle. She truly listens to her clients and has relationships with the cps system which benefits those parents with concerns regarding the safety of their children. We will continue to use Michelle for all of our family law needs.
