Best Lawyer to beat a cps case!

I do not recommend. Spent a lot of money for a lawyer who does not fight for mother’s rights or advocates for the best interest of child during custodial issues. Despite evidence the other party was corrupt, violates orders repetitively, and alleged abused, never presented to judge and/or filed motions to enforce. She even advised me to give up parts of my primary conservationship rights to avoid fighting the other party in mediation and courtroom, who she was intimidated by. I ended up with another attorney, who filed 29 motions to enforce within months and gained majority of my rights back. Will take another year to undue what I lost in the courtroom because of her.

Referred by friend back in 2014. Said she was the best. They were right! Melissa and Kelly have taken care me and my family since then. Melissa is super duper. I paid Melissa a retainer fee, and couldn't get a hold of her again. Her office never returned my calls, and she finally just sent me a letter saying that she would not be able to represent me. Despite numerous calls to her and her office for a refund of my retainer, I never heard from her again and never got a refund. I am now in the process of filing a complaint with the TX Bar Assoc. for misconduct. I also found out, later, that she never even initially filed with the courts to represent me...even though she told me she had. What a scam!

Absolutely incompetent lawyer. She lies. Makes false promises and then when you lose the case tells you that the judge went that way. She is always looking for a deal with the other lawyer and screw you in the process. If you study your case a bit you will know more about law yourself than her. She will even offer you deals like "sign this paper that says its all your fault" and then we will make a deal with the other party. You will end up losing lot of money even if you have an airtight case.
