There is another review that I wish I had read - Jack Maro makes a lot of promises that he does not keep. What he tells you he can and will do is far different that what actually happens. I wasted my money with this guy and I am writing this review because you should go elsewhere. If he is your only option, then I suggest getting free legal help because the quality is probably the same.
I hired Jack Maro to defend my brother - after $8,000 and 8 months my brother is in the same exact place we started, I'm $8,000 poorer and Mr. Maro is taking his state attorney friends out to dinner. He is a horrible excuse for a lawyer.

I can only speak from my experience with Mr Maro, I was facing trumped up charges after sloppy police work following an altercation at a party. I was charged with two second degree felonies and had an astronomical bail amount set. Mr Maro was the only lawyer to have looked into my case before he and I met, he saw exactly how things happened and listened to everything I said. He kept me informed of what was going on and ultimately got two burglary with assault charges turned into one simple battery “pushing/striking” charge. Eventually all charges were dropped. I would highly recommend Mr Jack Maro to anyone in need of criminal defense especially and innocent party.

I hired jack maro to do a motion to withdraw plea. Over time jack, at my direction, turned an 8 and one half year sentence into a five year sentence. This is something that rarely ever happens. Jack is one he'll of a good criminal defense attorney.

I hired Jack because of what he told me he could do to clear up a case. However once they had my money everything changed. When I would contact the office to see what they had done or what was going on with the case after all I was told the issue would be cleared up within a few day at most a week. It seemed as if I was bothering them. I left messages that I wanted to speak to Jack who I handed my money to however he never returned my call. After almost a month later and NOTHING done they sent me a letter advising to get the public defender involved! Are you kidding me what did I pay Jack for?? I will never recommend this attorney. Do you research. I'm not the only one that has had this experience.
