Attorney Weatherford is a Fantastic Attorney...deftly recommend

My experience with John Weatherford has been extremely poor. I am purchasing a property and his office is acting as the closing attorney. He has been unwilling to communicate, he has made numerous errors during the process, and is overall extremely unprofessional. The most shocking thing he did was that he flatly refused to verify the wiring instructions (this is standard protocol in any real estate transaction due to the recent escalation of wire fraud). He would not, no matter how many times I asked, verify that the instructions I received from his office were correct. I had to wire the funds without any verification. Then, as a follow up, I requested via email that he verify that the funds were received in his account. I provided a copy of the wire instructions that I used (the very same ones that he refused to verify) and a receipt from the bank showing the wire was completed. He has not responded to my request for verification. Throughout this transaction his office has missed contractual deadlines (title commitment) and would not send me documents that I, as the buyer am entitled to. I had to engage my own real estate attorney (which is NOT necessary in the state of Florida) just to get John Weatherford to perform as per contract. I have no idea why anyone would want to hire him if this is how he normally conducts business. I've been working in real estate for 15 years and have never come across anyone so unprofessional and unprepared to close a real estate transaction.
