I can't say enough good things about my experience with this law firm! My attorney is Patrick Harris. If I had not hired Patrick Harris I would be in prison at this very moment. He went above and beyond. When the courts messed up and didn't take care of everything during the two and a half months I was in jail. He was in the court room taking care of the situation within two days. When another problem arose due to negligence of the courts he spent hours on the phone taking care of it. I had violated two cases of probation with the same felony charge.

The last time I was in the court room the state attorney asked for two years, and Patrick Harris got me 12 days time served. God forbid I'll ever find myself facing charges again, but If I did I'd definently hire Patrick Harris again.

His assistant Maite was also great and very helpful. I'm not even a person who is really in the position to hire a lawyer, but they worked with myself and my family. Which made it possible for me to hire a private attorney.

If you are facing charges or a violation of probation. You can not afford not to hire a lawyer like Patrick Harris. Compared to other lawyers he doesn't charge nearly as much, and for the quality of service.

Mr. Harris is a very down to earth guy who actually cares about his clients. He visited me in jail any time there was any news regarding my case. In one month he came to see me three times. With a public defender you're lucky if they come to see you before your court date.

The truth of the matter is Public defenders work for the state. The state signs their paychecks. They will not fight for you the way a private attorney will. Also the amount I was charged for this case was nothing compared to difference of time I would of got with a public defender. Patrick had to file motion after motion to get the state to agree on what we wanted in the first two cases. In my last case he had to go directly to the judge, and he must be pretty persuasive to get the judge to sentence me to 12 days time served. When the state attorney was asking for two years.

On my new felony charge he got it dropped to a misdemeanor. On my violations of probation(new charge violation. . same charge third time in a row) He got me 67 days time served probation terminated and 12 days times served on the other.

I didn't hire Patrick on the new felony charge right away. I had a public defender assigned to me. I worked with him for a little bit, but he didn't care. I'd make points about the case and he would say things like "well that doesn't really matter to the courts" I even had a written confession from my co-defendant given to my probation officer saying the stuff they found belonged to them and that I had no knowledge that they were in possession of a controlled substance. I was told by the public defender that "it's not going to make a difference in my case". The first offer on the new felony charge was six months. Patrick got it down ten days time served misdemeanor paraphernalia. Patrick wanted to take it further and get the charge dropped completely which he could of, but I had already done the time and just wanted all of this to be over.

Like I said in the beginning of this review. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Patrick Harris. If you are looking for a lawyer he is the one you should go with. If you think you can't afford a lawyer. Call them, and see what can be worked out.

Out of five stars I'd give Patrick Harris and a seven!

I highly recommend Patrick. He is a very honest, hard working man. He truly works for his client and understands incarceration is not always the right answer. He thoroughly reviews all aspects of the case and provides his honest opinion to his client. Stays in contact with client on a regular basis even when incarcerated. We are extremely glad we hired him!
