Green family law review. My married name is Jennifer Spafford. I never thought I would write a bad review but here it goes. Do not hire this firm. They are a team of crafty mean women that do not uphold their fiduciary obligations to represent the client to the to their best ability.
Greens Family Law is all about money and that’s all I have to say about that. Susan Savard was my attorney and she pulled out of my case 3 days before my pretrail statement was due. It was also a few days before Thanksgiving. I almost had a heart attack. How could anyone do that while someone is facing the most stressful and emotional time in their lives.
I gave the firm a $13,000 retainer, $8000 cash and the rest in payments. Nothing was done with my case that was important all summer. I provided most of my own organized documents. I still was charged several thousands for work that they said they did.
Susan only spent less then an hour with me in my mediation. She was late and unprepared. She also sat with me in my deposition and just watched and did nothing to defend me while my husbands attorney acted crazy, while asking not relevant questions. She told me the attorney could ask me anything he wanted about my past.
She did my husbands deposition. She didn’t ask him about his violent nature towards me, which I think should be relevant to the case. I got a $10,000 plus bill for the two depositions and the preparation. I had a remaining balance over $7000 owed to the firm. I disputed the charges but being at their mercy agreed to pay payments on the amount due, just to move forward. Caryn Green denied my payment plan and they abandoned me. Caryn Green is ruthless, she was rude and heartless. I felt lost. She said there was a lot to do with my case now that we were going to trial and the firm couldn’t handle my legal bills. My question is why start my case and take all my money, then decide that. Ruthless.
They did nothing for me but push papers and charge a rate that a millionaire could not afford. They wouldn’t release any of my documents. They didn’t ruin my case because I keep all my documents filed in my computer and I was able to file my pretrail statement in time, thank God. Beware!!
I have been in contact with the Florida Bar association and I will have my complaint final soon. Look it up and see. Also you can dispute charges no matter what you sign. They do have rules. Good luck!! Also they like Facebook so beware, they have no reviews because they have turned the option off. Also only 4 reviews on google means I should have better researched this firm. Specially if you think you’re going to trial. Hope I can help. Sometime’s I forget, most women can’t play on the same team. Sadly. We need to work on that. Same team people. Equality.. it’s all about perseverance.. thanks anyways. I will keep the peace.
Don’t believe this response. This firm is charging me 175.00 interest charge on a charges that they never earned. Don’t believe a thing they write. Money hungry. I have been still trying to finalize my divorce and have not been able to finalize my complaint with the Florida Bar but you bet I will get on it this week. WARNER RUN FROM THIS FIRM.

ASTOUNDINGLY FANTASTIC!!
If you have a custody case, especially if your ex is trying to keep you from your children (whether you’re the mother or the father), these are the people you’re looking for!
I’ve been through 10 attorneys... i’m not exaggerating. Every single attorney in the past made lots of promises and had a horrible delivery. My first attorney got me into a terrible parenting plan that has been a nightmare for me and my son.
