Blatantly self serving. He actually laughed at me after telling me that I should have gotten our agreement in writing when he reneged on the original terms.

He took on a difficult collusion case as well as credit debt consolidation/remediation for me but held on to both for several years without filing anything with the courts. When I asked him about the progress of the collusion case he said he never got the file from the previous attorney who lost the original case. I paid $200 for the file and hand delivered it to Joe. He eventually removed himself from the case only two months prior to the statute of limitations expiration . That left me with no more money and no time to find another attorney. That cost me over $70,000.

His tact for my debt remediation was to ignore all requests for payment from my creditors until their time for collection had run out. Great, except that I spent 7 years with a credit score in the low 400’s during which time I paid SEVERAL penalties with utilities and insurance rates as well as high interest rate auto purchases and three lost employment opportunities with employers who use credit scores in the hiring process.

I accidentally overpaid him two consecutive payments of $100 after the expiration of the time period he was supposed to be repairing my credit. I called his office when I was assessed $116 for a homeowners policy due to not having a good credit rating. I asked what action Mr. Mancuso had taken to repair my credit and discovered he had not even pulled my credit at any time over the past year.

At that time I notified the office of the two overpayments. I was informed the first overpayment had been received and deposited and the second hadn’t been delivered by USPS yet. I asked that the second check be destroyed upon receipt. Instead it was cashed and deposited. Neither check went into the escrow account as his the fiduciary responsibility but was endorsed by Mr.Mancusos own hand with no identification as to what bank account they had been deposited.

When asked in writing to refund my $200 overpayment he still took his time and then only returned $188.77 with no explanation as to the discrepancy despite repeated requests.

Today I am filing a formal complaint.

I needed a lawyer for my case and I contacted this office on N. Orange avenue. When we met, he explained the process thoroughly and he helped me with my case. His service was very good and it was done quickly. I highly recommend Mr Mancuso to anyone who needs a good and experienced lawyer.

Love this practice I mean Joe is amazing at what he does and I couldn’t be happier. I had a bankruptcy case and he was on top of things. As long as you do your part and get him the documents he needs it will be a quick painless process. I did a chapter 7 but he is competent in all of them and even my student loans were taken care of. He is amazing and I highly recommend him to anyone for whatever financial hardship you’re experiencing as long as you aren’t doing anything shady he has your back and will fight for you. If you like being lied to and deceived this is your law firm. I made the mistake of believing Joe and his BS...... He and his staff are there to take your money and give you nothing in return. They set me up two different times with these scenarios of there approach to my legal problems. After a year of doing nothing, Joe billed me for more money to continue the same exact sit and wait game he had done for the first year. I declined the offer and decided to approach my problems in a different manor. I then asked about bankruptcy and again the lying and deceiving continued. I put a down payment on my bankruptcy and was told I had to have all these documents for the filing. After checking with other legal information, I found him to be incompetent with this part of the law. I went and filed my own Bankruptcy and didn't need any of the document that he said was required. I then asked for my deposit back and was told that he doesn't return deposits. He told me I signed a contract that stated this. I asked for proof two times and was ignored and then he wouldn't take my calls. His Paralegal informed me if I wanted to communicate with Joe I would have to write him a letter. Well, not only did I write him a letter, I wrote two letters with no response. I had to go to the local TV station and have them contact Joe. He then and only then called and told me to come pick up my Down payment. The most amazing conversation I had with Joe when we first met was he told me about every crooked law firm in the area by name. The only problem was that he didn't include himself. After talking to him when I picked up my money he informed me that he subcontracts out his Bankruptcy's to a Paralegal. If he was an honest Attorney he would have told me that from the start and of course I wouldn't have done business with Joe. Buyers Beware!!!!!
