Do not waste your time and much less your money on people who profit from your situation. My husband told you a situation with 2 creditors who continued to investigate their credit after a bankruptcy of more than 2 years and we decided to hire the services of lawyer Alan Borden "great mistake" we were more than 1 year waiting for results and the only thing I achieved was Waste our time. thanks for nothing!! NOT RECOMMENDING IT FOR ANYTHING

I hired this attorney by a friend referral from work. I only saw the attorney maybe 2 times including the day that we file for bankruptcy chapter 13. We paid all the fees including court fees to file to this lawyer prior to filing for chapter 13. We had an agreement that we were going to pay 177.00 per month. We started paying this amount to the Chapter 13 trustee every month for 12 months. My case was confirmed in July of 2018 for the same amount we agreed with Alan Borden from the get go. My case was dismissed by the court after 1 of the 5 years that we agreed on. My lawyer Alan Borden never sent us notification that the Judge wanted to raise the monthly fees. I received in August a notification of motion for the case to be dismissed for non payment which we have been making payments every single month on the 19th of every month. I was not able to pay no more because I had a stroke in 2016 in December and I returned to work again in April of 2017. My husband lost his job because we had to take care of our 7 year old daughter. I tried to communicate this to my lawyer and his staff but they did not seem to care at all. Tried to talk to Alan and he was never available. In August my case was dismissed and all that money that we paid the Chapter 13 Judge was supposed to be returned to us. Instead Alan Borden Kept all of the money collected for 1 year from us. Those were his attorney fees based in a 5 year contract that we had agreed. He kept the money for services he did not rendered. The office staffed told me that he had worked a lot for us during this year trying for us to buy a care which we could not because our case was not confirmed yet. What did he work for us? I do not understand how can he claimed that all the money that we were supposed to receive is owe to him. Not to mentioned that my paper work was not file correctly. They had one of our cars there listed that we have returned to the dealership prior to file bankruptcy per his advised. We come to find this out almost a year after we file. This should have never been listed at all. This car was not with us at all. The year 2017 was very difficult for me I had 4 kidney surgeries 3 on m y right kidney and 1 on my left, this was communicate it to the office of Alan Borden included with hospital stays and discharge papers so if he fought soo much for us why wasn't he able to let the judge know that I was out of work disabled because of my health and my husband not working. Numerous time we tried to contact him but we got all of the stuff. We never received a bill from him for his services after filing chapter 13 for him to keep our money. Please read this carefully!! A good lawyer cares for his clients and do what it takes to help them. I will take this further and I will make the judge to reopen my case because the money that he kept is not his is ours. I do not recommend this office nor this lawyer.

I highly recommend Alan Borden as a lawyer, he is an excellent attorney. He helped me with my previous employer in receiving the money they owed me and really took control of the situation. He was deliberate and highly efficient in helping me resolve this issue and always kept me informed throughout the process. He is experienced and knowledgable.
