This is sadly a firm on decline. It has lost two of its named partners in as many years. The firm takes on more cases than it can responsibly manage, then makes excuses for unforced errors and unnecessary delays. Because this is a high-volume, low-attention firm, the attorneys are always in hearings and depositions, leaving under-qualified, overworked support staff to do the work of licensed professionals. The office has been chronically understaffed for years, and the management would rather hire servers, high school graduates, and carpenters rather than Florida registered paralegals.

There is a toxic, high pressure atmosphere in the office. The attorneys do not trust each other or the management, and one of the attorneys does not even live in Florida. Cut-throat tactics are adopted to undercut coworkers, and the accused rarely are afforded an opportunity to defend themselves. The support staff is constantly being hauled into closed door meetings and yelled at and/or threatened, yet training is nonexistent. Moreover, the hiring practices are unethical, promising overtime and bonuses when that do not exist. And you can forget about receiving a substantial Christmas bonus. While the firm touts good benefits, the health insurance has a $6,500 deductible, so you are really only covered for catastrophic loss and routine checkups.

This may have once been a prestigious firm that clients could trust, but the firm has lost several clients in the past year or so and is unrepentant in the way it mistreats its employees. Truly a sad situation that I do not see getting better.

The foregoing is my opinion, but I stand by it and would be willing to discuss the same with any prospective employee or client.

I have been utilizing the firm since 2008. They make you feel that they are working hard for me Results matter. You will get results. Patience is the key. During the time of any legal situation. Your emotions will change. I have learned to remove my emotions and just always stick to the facts. Facts matter and that is what you need to keep clear.

I will use this firm for decades to come. When only the best will do. Freeman, Goldis and Cash for you!!!

A great law firm, professional and helpful. The best lawyers in Florida, maybe the entire USA.

Worst experience with an employer I have ever had. The COO (Craig Cranston) rules through intimidation (when called on the carpet and I attempted to advocate for myself, I was told to "Just be quiet and listen to me" and was never given a chance to respond). He was obnoxious and rude to the disabled wife of one of the partners. Why that partner didn't stand up for his wife is beyond me, but I lost a ton of respect for the partner (Scott Brasfield) for allowing his wife to be bullied and any respect I had left for Craig Cranston circled the bowl rapidly. Double standards are employed on a regular basis and if you aren't one of Mr. Cranston's "buddies" you are not on the privileged side of those double standards. My personal opinion is that Mr. Cranston also practices racism as one of his double standards. No, if you are offered a position here, run like the wind in the opposite direction. They don't pay well enough to treat their people like crap. For what they were paying me, they should have been glad I put my butt in the car every morning. I was lied to and mislead about the job duties as well as the rate of pay. The insurance benefits are the worst I have ever seen. I wish to God I had never gone to work for this firm. Horrible place with mostly horrible people. Steer clear. Oh, and they would bill their clients for my work at the rate of a paralegal. I am NOT a paralegal so they are ripping their clients off, as well.
