Bruce represented me in a high conflict custody battle. He is very knowledgeable in family law, very organized and straight and to thw point, which I really appreciate. I could relax knowing he had my child's best interest in mind through out the case. He was quick to respond whenever I had a question and did all in his power to keep the case moving. This man was a BIG let down! He promised my family and I so many things and didn't follow through with any of them. I made the mistake of paying him $3000 in full for the services he promised and didn't follow through with not one. Then calls me to let me know that I'm tapped out and I actually owe him money! I was speechless. He did nothing except file a few papers for my ex to fill out a financial affidavit. We never even made it close to mediation. He puts on this front as if he is Father of the year with this huge heart and boy does he deserve an academy award for putting on one heck of a front not only to myself but to my family as well. He was so unbelievable when I went to meet him at our first consultation but the minute he got paid he turned into this different man. He wouldn't return phone calls, and when he finally did he was rude and would cut me off on the phone as if he didn't have time nor want to hear my problems. His secretary Sharon is no better than he is let me add. She doesn't give him messages and is very rude. Would tell me when I didn't receive certain paperwork that she just forgot to send it and didn't even have the courtesy to apologize just very hasty!! If you are looking for someone that will fight for you and not against you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not hire this man Bruce Kaplan. He is nothing but a crook and a liar. Please do your research and don't get sucked into his first time personal charm at your free consultation. Also let me add, if you do hire him make sure you get everything that he promises you in writing or else you will end up in the same boat as I did. $3000 in the trash and nothing taking care of.
