Initial impression is quite pathetic when receiving an envelope where the name of a former partner is whited-out. Instead of decent letterhead, Zacur & Graham correspondence is with a very worn inkjet printer. Seriously, Staples can print letterhead with envelopes inexpensively even in small quantity.
Secondly, I live in a building that has a flat roof that is 20+ years old. It has leaked for years. Unfortunately some of leaks are in closets where the bulk of my work and other nice attire got ruined. As various other sentimental and things of personal value that aren't used much so they are stored away until needed but are found water damaged. Other leaks are in areas where I can lay down plastic in the walkways and dishpans to catch some but all the splash. I would think the obvious advice for an association is they need to take care of basic maintenance and if they don't I am attaching some photos since a picture is worth a thousand words. I don't have lighted closets but this is the area just outside the closet.
As I must have suitable attire for work, I of course have to replace what has gotten damaged. Apparently when one does that and buys groceries, holiday items and presents for a some friends and family, gets some housewares on sale etc. all for one's self and has them delivered because temporarily cannot drive for a while, that is deemed clearly running a business according to Zacur & Graham. Seriously? So according to Zacur & Graham if one's clothes and shoes purchases are all in sized to fit a single body that's a business--please let me know where I can shop at such establishment since that would save me and many women oodles of time. Ditto, buy a basic dining service for 8, upgrade the pots and bedding because one's an adult and no long a grad student so it's time to quit cheap plastic and disposable, so you have lunch and dinner plates for you and a couple friends coming for a visit--that's apparently business quantity according to Zacur & Graham. For the record, I'd be happy to show a reporter my online purchases receipts. I am guilty of taking advantage of holiday sales. Except for consumable like food and cleaning supplies and a few holiday gifts, I can account for everything I have purchased. Note while of course I do get packages delivered a few times a week, there is no traffic, no pick up packages, I don't even have a house phone line, but that's supposedly a business? Really? That's the opinion of Zacur & Graham. I'll let the intelligent reader draw their own conclusion.
