Emily Carr is the worst possible family attorney I've ever heard of. She never took any information at all about reports of abuse - despite multiple reports from several agencies. She filed no motions, affidavits, or anything at all during a six month period, she refused to rebut anything presented by Co council. She made lots of promises to file things, but then 'forgot' or argued multiple times about the requests. She did not even file a response to the original affidavit.

In fact, she did not try at all to represent me. She then became argumentatiVe as I continued to confront her about her lack of representation, at which point she withdrew from the case. She managed to accomplish absoluteLy nothing, yet only returned 2/5 of the $5000 retainer. I am currently looking into finding both a real divorCe attorney, and one to sue Ms. Carr. Avoid this law firm if you intend to actually fight your case. Total scam.
