Blake Melhuish is an excellent attorney and a good person. He is very relatable and easy to talk to. His staff is very friendly and efficient. It's clear that personal relationships with clients are a high priority at this law office.

I've been represented by Blake for more than 13 years in various business and personal legal matters. Fortunately in all the years I have had only one dispute that involved a civil matter which lead to a trial. I have served on a non-profit board with him and have come to know him as someone of good character and honesty who is loyal to his clients' and very knowledgeable in the law. Blake is an outstanding trial attorney who understands the value of good evidence and trial preparation. It's impossible in some matters for one person to effectively represent the client, and Blake's staff is very good at organizing, tracking and distributing the enormous amount of information that can be generated in a case involving litigation.
I can highly recommend Blake and his firm in the area of contracts and business litigation, and any other matter should your particular issue fall in an area in which he practices.

Honestly I thought everything had gone well, I followed all advice, submitted 80 pages of evidence for my case... And Mr. Melhuish got hosed by a local scammer who didn't even bother hiring a lawyer or submitting almost any evidence at all. I'm shocked.
I've been getting notices for the last $300 I owe him on about 4K that I payed to get hosed in court by scammer with no attorney, amazed that this can even happen in modern day.
Amazed. Amazed. When I hired him, I told him I just wanted to know if I had any rights as a tentant in Sarasota/Bradenton, spoiler alert: You have no rights as a tenant in Brandenton/SRQ.
