After recently losing my beloved spouse, of 40 years, I contacted the very professional offices of Nerlin Ontivero Esq. The death occurred in Dade county where the laws pertaining to probate and homestead rebate matters are (at the very least confusing and bewildering). Between the processes of handling the real estate sale and transfers of our property there were several other lawyers involved which was confusing matters even worse than anticipated at such an extremely vulnerable time of grieving and regarding these processes of moving back into a normal transition of life.
Throughout the entire several month encounter, I relied explicitly on Nerlin’s expert advice and discreet experience to direct and navigate the closing processes regarding all negotiations to the benefit of our estate and in compliance with all local and state laws and regulations. Nerlin even stepped in when another lawyer attempted to take unfair advantage of our situation and overcharge me for services rendered.

I recently worked with this office on some real estate matters and their staff is amazing! At most law firms the attorney never sits with you or takes your calls, but Attorney Ontivero is very dedicated and was always available to speak with me or promptly returned my calls. Her staff is very professional and knowledgeable too! They assisted me through every step of the way and I always felt like I had the support of a great team backing me up. Great experience closing with this company. The whole team was fantastic including my mortgage and real estate broker. They took the time to answer any questions we had. The whole loan process was stressful at times for me only because of my eagerness but they were very reassuring and was a smooth process. A few delays for closing only due to needed items on our end but when we had a confirmed approval and clear to close this office was fast to schedule our closing the next day with a variety of availability. All documents were ready when we got to the office. Overall great experience!!! Absolutely recommend this company and my broker Pamela Suarez!

A liar and a thief. I had the misfortune of trusting her with my escrow deposit in a real estate transaction. She initially quoted me a closing fee but when the final closing disclosure came in, it was several hundred dollars higher. When I complained, she told me that she could not honor the initial quote as she spent more time in my transaction. When my loan got denied, the seller claimed my deposit. She said she would represent me, but for that representation she wanted $1,000.00 to reply to the seller. I declined her services and yet, when I was able to get the seller to release my deposit, this conniving liar took just because $1,200.00 of the escrow deposit. When I complained, she said "take it or leave it". This woman is a crazy psycho con artist, who lies to get the business, does a horrible job, does not represent anyone but herself, and robs you out of your money. She is a liar, and a thief, and she should be disbarred. I would not recommend her to anyone, and I would tell you that if you are considering hiring her, RUN AWAY FROM HER
