Disability Help Group was the best call I ever made. They were so helpful, I never felt like I was alone. Navigating Disability is complicated and Disability Help Group make it so easy.

A lot of people think that they can file their own disability claim initially. I believe they do this to avoid the cost of hiring an advocate. This is a huge mistake when it comes to filing for Social Security disability. Mistakes made in the initial filing can ultimately lead to a denial of benefits. Virtually all of the initial filings are denied and go to medical review. Many of the claims are denied at medical review and ultimately go before an administrative law judge.

The Disability Help Group was a critical part of my ultimately being approved for benefits. They made the process easy from filing the initial paperwork to assuring that the proper documentation was received and representing me at the administrative hearing. Carmen my case manager, Stacy my attorney advocate at the administrative hearing and Betsy the attorney handling my case post hearing we’re all very professional and helpful.

The Disability Help Group only receives payment if you prevail in the claim and receive back benefits. They receive 25% of the back benefits and the payment is capped at $6000. The only thing I am responsible for out-of-pocket or cost incurred by them in obtaining medical records. In my case this was a whopping $27. I don’t mind paying good money for a good professional advice. In this case it was well worth every dime.

I was let go by my company after 14 years because of my oxygen. I also had other ailments that required extra accommodations as well and I had zero luck finding a job with these disabilities. I haven't been disrepected like this since Paris Island. Adam, the attorney I spoke with, wouldn't even let me finish a sentence while on the phone with him, seemed dismissive/uncaring, and was just generally disrespectful... it takes a LOT to get under my skin, but this clown managed to do it. Any Veteran looking for help with claims or appeals should avoid Disability Help Group all together. You will NOT get the help, respect, and service you need by going with them. Absolutely Disgusting.

There the worst contact you when they want to catch up on your case. You call them all you get is the voicemail telling you they call you back in 24 hrs and never do it be more like 5 days later

I recently had my Social Security hearing and am currently awaiting a decision
I was very impressed with the my assigned lawyer " Matthew" . Even more impressive was my case manager Stephanie Chambers.
Stephanie kept me apprised of any and all proceedings throughout the waiting process.
She was diligent in obtaining documentation from my Doctor visits and obtaining all pertinent medical records. It was evident she was thorough by Matthew's full understanding of my case and his capabilities in handling the hearing

I have tried to FIRE this group ( because they do nothing for me, I do it all) and they will NOT accept it. I call from my phone and it automatically connects me to a voicemail. When I call from someone else’s number they hang up on me. I have proof from my phone company & from my SS worker on the dates & times . I will follow a claim against them . Trust me !!!

I do not like this company at all for 2 years,i have been tyrn to call them. The only call ive made to this office was my anitial phone call wanting to hire them. Immediatly after the phone call a man showed up at my house 7 15 the next morning in the rain with papers for me to sign. That was the only phone call i made to the office after that my phone numbet was put it a voicemail system i never got another live person on the phone using my cellphone 2 years later i used my daughters phone to call n then i got thru. They have very bad communication skilks u cannot call at any given time . Worst Service i have ever recieved. Im still waitn on a new court date the first one was cancelled because the judge was sick

I'm trying to get in contact with Susan or Donnel for information pertaining to my VA claim. Every time I call I've been forwarded directly to voicemail each time I don't understand what's going on I would just like someone to contact me and clarify. When I call from a different number I can speak to someone when I call from my number I get put straight to voicemail.

So far I'm very disappointed...I haven't been with this group for as long as some...but I have to some of the comments aren't far off..only phone calls I recieved are updates on my address and phone calls or ask me if I've been to the doctor lately...one time I just saw my doctor the same day I called...tried to give updates...didn't want to hear about it....and about returning phone calls...does not exist..always voice mails when you call...this really stinks...I have questions...I would like some answers....

This place is a joke! I have been working with them for over 2 years and i only met my attorney the morning of my ALJ hearing for 5 min before the hearing and someone at that office dropped the ball.
After my hearing my attorney Natalie Burns was talking with the judge and she came out and said*the judge doesn't have a problem approving you for disibility but she wants to change my onset date and i agreed....thought alll was on go....then i recieved a unfavorable decision from the judge....i immediately call myxontact there Stephanie Chambers left her 3 messages to olease call me and didnt hear from her so i emailed her to no avail.
So then icalled left messages and email for Natalie Burns and no response .
NOT ONE WORD FROM THIS OFFICE TO INFORM ME TO THE JUDGES DECISION
I ALSO THINK MR.LAVAN AND MR. NEIDERBERG (PRINCIPLES OF BUSINESS) SHOULD BE ACCESSIBLE TO CLIENTS.
I have a new attorney now and starting process again.
I am in process of filing a complaint with the Florida Bar and this isnt a way to run a business.

Not impressed, they are just looking for the easy SSI cases. Don't waste your time if you want them to answer a question. Should change name as they really aren't there to help unless they see a big easy payday in it.
