Absolutely the most careless immigration lawyer in the US. He forgot to extend my I-94 and suggested I leave the country and come back in as “maybe they won’t notice”. He left me without status (illegal) and I had to move mountains with new lawyers in order to get my case back on track. This was 7 years ago, today I hear from a cousin that coincidentally used him that he was processing her and her husband’s visa and Bander completely botched their application even though they were married! He got the visa and she was denied because of a mismatch in the timing of application.

I really wish I could have warned her before she spent thousands on this incompetent lawyer that has now left her illegal and her have to spend other thousands of dollars on new lawyers that will take care of her case, which should have been an easy application in the first place!

Through various online articles and references, I heard about Mr. Bander's previous successful immigration cases. I contacted Mr. Bander through his website and, after an initial consultation interview, decided to hire his services.

Before contacting Mr. Bander, I had applied for a green card which was denied by the USCIS. Mr. Bander determined the best course of action was to file for a Motion To Reopen and Reconsider (MTR), in which he clearly and precisely presented the reasons why the USCIS had made an error in handling my case. 5 months after the MTR was filed, the USCIS recognized the error and approved my green card.

Throughout the whole process, Mr. Bander always responded to my consultations in a timely and professional manner. He handled with assertiveness my MTR case, from which at least one other lawyer shied away for believing the USCIS was correct in their initial denial decision.
