First off Mr. DeFabio is a great and excellent attorney even tho he roots for the gators. Mr. DeFabio help me and my cousin out as much as he could. Before going to him for assistance my cousin was facing 15 to life MINIMUM sentence. We had lawyers declined to take the case for how serious it was. He was able to get my cousin with a sentence of a 1 year and 3 months with time already served. And he will be released this March after it seem like there was no hope for him. After facing this trial, I was very glad that I choose Mr. DeFabio to represent me and my cousin during this case. He keeps it real and let’s you know how it is and isn’t going to sugarcoat anything and that’s what I liked. He also will continue to help even after the case is finished, not many lawyers do that at all! I would advise you if you guys need a lawyer, I would recommend this one. If are at this moment searching for the right person to represent you it must be a hard time in your life or of a loved one you might know of. I was fortunate to have found Mr. Defabio during one of our most difficult times. My son like many young adults now a days was involved with the wrong people and was taking a very dangerous path. I came to Mr. Defabio very scared, confused, and not knowing what to expect. Mr. Defabio sat with me and my son on the first day and explained what most likely he was facing and the time length that it was going to take from beginner to end of his court proceedings. There was never a time that he was called where he didn’t answer in a tinely fashion. Whenever my son needed to speak to him he was always available. When my son was encarsarated, he was at the jail in less than 12 hours from the time my son was taken in. Every single time we went to court he would always approach me and explain what was going to take place and the most likely outcome. He had explained that all court appearance could take from 6 months to a year, in 5 months Mr. Defabio was able to get my son a youthful offender charge and he was placed onto James Club Recovery program. My son now is having weekly therapy along with all the meetings from James Club. When all this began my son was a skinny 140lb young man, now he is weighing 185 lbs at 6 ft tall. Mr. Defabio will always have a spot in my heart, he helped us through one of our toughest time and has given me my son back.
