We are in the process of selling an undivided 1/2 interest of a land lot in CDA that we have owned for the last 8 years. As the title lists us as the only owners, the other party was quite happy to let us pay 100% of property taxes and HOA fees for this time period. When the other party told us he has no intention of paying half of these fees, we sought the advice of Attorney Macomber. He was extremely generous with his time, and we never felt rushed or pressured during our 45-minute free consultation. Attorney Macomber's advice was that our best course of action was through the small claims process. Imagine! He even offered us referrals for solid real estate agents for future reference.
