Not worth the money. Paid over $2000.00 to respond to a civil suit just to have him file an appearance and then withdrawal without filing a response.

I have known Charles Steinberg since 2002. He is not only my attorney, he has become a dear friend. He has represented me on several occasions and done an amazing job every time. He is fair and balanced, honest, ethical, hard working and he very much cares for his clients on every level. He always goes the extra mile for you and makes sure to handle difficult details in any situation. I was pleasantly surprised to hear he is running for Judge. The Lady that scheduled my appointment on the phone was quite rude to begin with but I still went ahead with scheduling an appointment. I drove an hour and a half to get here today. Ater the long drive I needed to use the toilet but one of the attorneys was sleeping in the restroom. I drove to Safeway and came back. When I left to go find a restroom, I returned their clipboard with my personal information on it to the receptionist. When I returned from using the restroom at Safeway, my personal information was still sitting on the counter for anybody who walked in to see it. I waited 15 minutes, being the only client in the building while what appeared to me to be two attorneys in the back on and off the telephone and carrying on between the two of them. I assume the receptionist was the same individual who scheduled my appointment, because she appeared to not be too interested in greeting me, or assisting me with the closest toilet, or being friendly... coming across as someone who hates their job and looks down on clients as being needy and beneath her. Apparently, they didn't want my cash. As I left I thanked the receptionist politely and she only stared at me offering not a single word. Maybe this place has so much business that they don't care about any new clients. I'm not sure but I would not recommend this place. Nothing professional about this place and two attorneys Sharing a rundown house as an office isn't a sign of success.

Only giving 3 stars because I didn't get to use their services. I am writing to give information. The receptionist will tell you this upfront....Consultation is 100.00, and half your fees must be paid before any work is done and paid in full before anything is filed. If you need assistance with anything already causing you financial hardship, welcome to perpetual poorness. I asked if they knew any firm who had alternative payment options, possibly low income....They know no one.

Very professional and researched our issue prior to appointment. Extremely familiar with all the legal issues concerning us and others that a good judge would consider in dealing with law.
I'm not supportive of the biased legal justice system in our community. Basically runs via "good old boy system" but Mr. Steinberg seems to be unaffected by it but very aware of it.
