I’m an immigrant and did not understand anything about the law here (not that law is easy to understand anywhere). I met Jada for advice on my divorce. She was very understanding and kind to me. I had visited her 3/4 times. Any other attorney would’ve charged me for filing the divorce and taken money for the extra visits as well, but Jada told me that my case was easy, guided me through the whole process and didn’t charge me, instead I insisted on paying her. She is very humanitarian and her knowledge about the law is accurate. She prepared me very well to appear with my case in front of the judge and her advice on my case in regards to my immigration status being temporary has put me at such ease. I would definitely recommend her, she is a very genuine lawyer!

Facing the fact that we were going to have to file for bankruptcy was frightening. We felt humiliated, even though our financial troubles were the result of circumstances beyond our control. But the minute we walked into Dorothy's office we felt welcomed and reassured. Dorothy made it clear that she and her staff were there for us, on our side. Her attitude was that life happens, now let's help you turn this around. Her reassurance from the minute we met her made the rest of the process much less awful than we expected. Dorothy and Jada and the rest of the staff always treated us with warmth and respect. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Jada was asked to complete a (long over-due) quadro for my divorce by my attorney who either could not or would not complete the services he was hired for. She quickly completed the quadro in January of 2018, at which time she had given it back to my attorney who was then supposed to do his part. When I notified her recently to let her know that I had not yet received my money, and it was now October, she was shocked. She immediately contacted both my attorney and my ex-husbands attorney and made arrangements to finalize the paperwork that was never her responsibility to do. She completed the process in less than one week!! Not only was it not her job to do, but I found out that she was not receiving money for it. When I offered to pay her, she refused. She knew that I had already paid the attorney his retainer, $2,500 and would be receiving yet another bill for services that were never received by him.
She was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining everything in detail. She communicates effectively so that you're not left wondering what is going on or why things are delayed.
I hope that I will never need another attorney again, but if I do, I will contact her immediately. The most important thing in all of this, is that she is kind and has integrity! Jada is not about the money. She truly cares about people and loves what she does.

When my father passed away, my mother had encountered some difficulty in claiming her military Survivor's Benefits. When a request for legal referrals went out, Jada answered the call, having had experience with government retirement orders. Sure enough, she was able to cut through the red tape and win my mother her benefits. Jada was caring and professional, keeping us updated throughout the process. She is very personable, and even offered us a jar of pickled beans her mother made, when we met with her in person! We can definitely say Jada deserves your trust and confidence with your legal matters.

Dorothy is Amazing as is her office staff! She is very honest and helpful and never makes you feel bad for anything you are going through. She is funny and easy to work with. I would refer her to anyone who may be in a tough spot and need some help.

Major communication issues. I scheduled my first appointment a few months ago for a free consult one morning after my 12 hour night shift. I waited 1/2 hour for them to open and they opened a few minutes late and come to find out this was to be a 2 hour appointment. I was not told this when I scheduled as I couldn't stay up that much long after working. So I told them I would reschedule on a day off. I did a few months later after specifically asking if they can review and look into my large student loan debt. I was told yes by Dorothy's sister at the beginning of my 2 hour consult. After 75 minutes of doing paperwork and watching a video with her sister(who was nice enough), I then met with the attorney. Dorothy was blunt and said no way can I take your case "you'd never be able to afford me fighting the student loan... I was like well how much? and she said $45,000" Took all of me to from laughing but I was also very upset that I again wasted so much time! As a professional I find this office very unprofessional... as I was walking out the door I overhear Dorothy telling her staff she doesn't do student loans anymore. Gee thanks for letting me know after the fact! Dorothy did recommend me to another attorney Mr. Granvold that wants $350 cash to meet with me for a 1 hour consult for BK and the student loans but won't tell me upfront if he took the case how much his legal fees are... really? Why would I give an attorney that much cash not knowing what their other fees are?? All I can say is really do your research. Needless to say I have attained another attorney and all is going as planned and MUCH less expensive then Dorothy's office and I'm sure Mr. Granvold's!

Best attorney EVER!

Very smart people with just as high emotional intelligence. Never making the sting of misfortune (no matter whatEVER variable may have been the root cause) more humiliating. No candy coating do not get that wrong! Just, Dorthy and her peeps get that life happens. Sometimes, it happens more than once. >.< . She listens to you, not AT you. That there is a quality no amount of $$$ can buy.

My wife and I went to Dorothy for our bankruptcy, and we absolutely loved our experience with her. We highly recommend her to anyone. She took what seemed to be a very scary and daunting ordeal, and made it very simple.

I am shocked by this attorneys fees. But a down payment and then deceided to go a different directions out of 165.00 got 53.00. It's not like they actually filed out the paperwork that the client has to do. Not really sure the 1400.00 and somethingthat was quoted is right either. Really am shocked by refund check amount. Surpised they did not keep it all.
