Best Dad in the World

I called Thursday AM and gave the details of my case to the paralegal and she put me on the calendar for Mr. Trombold to call me at 4pm later that same day for a consultation, which was surprisingly quick. I was at the airport when he called and found a nice quiet spot assuming it would take a little while. The call lasted under 2 minutes in total! This is because, while I was in the middle of answering one of Mr. Trombold's questions, he abruptly interrupted me and said he "had a very important meeting he needed to get back to" and quickly hung up the phone. I found this extremely rude and unprofessional, as anyone would. After thinking about it, why would he schedule my consultation in the middle of an important meeting in the first place and why would he not apologize if it was unforseen and reschedule my consultation? And if he had decided after 2 quick questions he didn't want to take my case, why not just say that? I never heard back from him or his office in the following 4 days. Needless to say, I don't recommend Mr. Trombold after this experience, as it left his character very exposed.

This attorney was hired to represent me and he was paidna $2,500 retainer fee. His had no sense of urgency and by the time he did get around to meeting with me i made the decision he was not a good fit and I termimated him. Its been over 6 weeks and he does not return calls or respond to messages. He spent less than 30 minites on this matter and he needs to refund the majority of what he was paid.

Kevin and indeed all of his office were amazing. From the moment we first talk to him about the charges, we knew we were in the right hands. He balanced making sure we knew all the possible ramifications with his calm assurances that it we were going to get the best possible out come. He brought genuine care as he walked us through all the ins and outs of what could and couldn't happen in clear and simple communication style that allowed for comprehensive understanding. He and his staff made sure we knew what we needed to do when we needed to do it such that we were best situated to have positive results. The depth of knowledge of the judges and prosecutors he brought and his positive relationships with them were instrumental in negotiating a very favorable outcome. Can not thank or recommend Kevin enough.

Kevin Thrombold and Melanie is a great team. My case in particular was a very dificult one because of my location. I was in Seattle for school and an issue arose but I went back to Wisconsin. I went through a differed prosecution for a DUI 5 years ago. My original lawyer skipped town and was disbarred. Kevin took her place with representing me. Couldn't be happier. Very unprofessional, I paid $1,500 for the attorney to “look into a case” as he requested. 2 full months have gone by and “they have been to busy to look into it or speak to someone” I called today for a refund sense they haven’t been able to do anything. We have never seen the attorney, and have only been able to speak to him 2 times for about 5 minutes over the phone. I have never experienced this working with any attorney EVER!
His receptionist said she will have him give me a call back, but as usual, that means I won’t get one. Sense he seems to be in a meeting every time we try to reach out to him.
So time to move on to a different attorney and fight for my money back.

Kevin was a GREAT attorney. He kept me informed about everything. You can tell he has a lot of experience and years of working with judges around the area. He knows how to work with people and was very reasonable and understanding in working with me to make a payment plan in order to attain him as my attorney.
The BEST part - he makes himself available to call his clients directly if we have questions. My experience with other attorneys (working for one, and not) is that they have a hard time getting back to you, if at all, or in a timely matter. Kevin exceeds in this.
