It was a real good decision to come to this law firm and seek consultation for my situation. Jenny and her assistant are the dynamic duo! I hired Jenny through the KCBA Moderate Means program. I met with her and we agree on a course of action and compensation. I payed the agreed upon initial payment.

Then I didn’t hear from her for almost three and a half months, after leaving numerous email and voice messages. After informing her that I was aware that her actions, or lack thereof, constituted legal malpractice she refunded my initial payment and agreed to further assist me in several ongoing legal matters.

I thought I would give her a second chance. Due to her incompetence she absolutely failed in her role as an attorney costing me thousands or dollars and leaving me in an untenable position.

Jenny is not a person to be trusted with your legal matter. She will ignore your matter until the last moment. She is unfamiliar with legal procedure and precedent which will jeopardize and damage your case. She will wait until the absolute last moment to inform you of vital information, that a competent lawyer would have known beforehand. Then after she has destroyed your case and it’s chances of success she will ask for a small fortune for services rendered after she turns your case and life into a dumpster fire.

My fiancee and I hired Jenny originally for a tenant-landlord dispute. We paid her $700 upfront for her services. She did absolutely nothing for over 3 months and would not respond to our phone calls or emails. It was only after bringing to her attention that her actions, or lack thereof, constituted legal malpractice that she responded to us at all.

She agreed to refund our initial agreement and continue assisting us with our case. We offered an additional two lucrative cases and she agreed to take them on.

She did not make any stipulations concerning her compensation, and so therefore we were left to assume that it would be done on a contingency basis, until well into the legal process when she asked for an exorbitant amount of money. We asked her before we enrolled her services if she thought it was worth our time and money to pursue the case or to walk away. In her legal option she assented that we had a worthwhile case. She failed substantially to represent us. Numerous times she messed up court procedure, paperwork, deadlines and requirements the proved unfavorable to our case.

I originally gave her a 1 star review after she never reaponded to our case after our payment. Her, my fiancee and I made an agreement that if she gave us our $700 back, then would I take my review down.

Here I am giving Ms. Cochrane yet another 1 star because of the poor services she has provided for us. I encourage you to look elsewhere for an attorney to represent you because she is in no way reliable.

Jenny is AMAZING !!! She listen to my issue and wanted to help, within a few weeks I was able to have visitation with my daughter again. Fast forward a few years later and she is still helping with things that pop up from my daughter's mother. I never feel alone, as I know that she will answer my call and be there to help!!!

Ms. Cochrane prompt response and assistance with a dispute involving a local affordable housing provider, subsidized by HUD, was without equal. As you may imagine, the immense volume of HUD policy and procedure related to property management and housing occupants is staggering. Jenny,s concise in-depth research to address matters in controversy was both impressive and of significant value when presenting my petition.

Stay away if you do not want to feel sorry. Unethical, unprofessional and lack of moral.Paid her for nothing ,in 7 months she had done absolutely nothing,She caused more damage. My advise is to seek referrals when start looking for lawyers if you do not want these crooks to turn your life upside down.
