Today, Derek Medina threatened me with contempt, a mental health evaluation, restrictions, sanctions, and parenting classes. He told me I am, and I quote: "unqualified as a parent, as an attorney, and DEFINITELY as a person."

FYI- I'm not an attorney. Just a custodial, single mother, and survivor of domestic abuse, representing myself.

I haven't filed any sort of ethics complaint, or consulted with an ethics attorney yet, but if this has been your experience with Derek Medina, feel free to be in touch. I'm curious to hear from you.

Despite his fake news, I think I'm qualified as a person, and I have an extensive parent education resume I'd love to share with you :)

Derek did an amazing job representing me against an alienating parent. He navigated through countless abusive e-mails leading up to the trial date in attempts to work amicably and resolve multiple issues fabricated by an above poster in this review thread as well as a frivolous and unethical lawyer unable to represent his client and forced to withdraw in a fabricated motion when Derek reveled in a deposition that he was sleeping with his client. I highly recommend Derek Medina especially if your plagued with dealing with an abusive co-parent.

Apparently Derek is too busy to get back with me after a simple online inquiry. Lawyers who care at least try. Look for someone else.
