I began this process with extreme anxiety, and with my own insecurities. When I showed up for my first visit I was greeted with a smile and instantly they made me feel like it was ok. I was shown to a very relaxing room to watch a video that addressed all of my concerns and shown me what to expect. I thought to myself " how can it be this easy"? .. but it was. I met with the attorney and discussed my options and the steps moving forward. Within the next 2 weeks I had my follow up appointment and filed soon thereafter. It's been about a week since the filing and I have already stopped getting harassing calls from creditors. Just one more meeting next month and then I will be on my way to a fresh start.

After doing a bunch of internet research for Bankruptcy Attorneys, Kain & Scott PA overshadowed all others I had looked at. The fact that they also have offices in St. Cloud and Brainerd is also very helpful! After working with the whole group at Kain & Scott since the end of May, I know without a doubt I made the right choice. Never once have they made me feel bad about myself for getting in the position I am in. They are all extremely understanding and willing to help out however they can, and are great at returning phone calls and emails right away. Once we began the process, they made me feel as if a huge weight had been lifted. I have a not so common situation and then ended up having to change things not to far into it but my attorney, Mr. Kain, has never made me feel bad about it or that I made things more difficult for him in any manner. He is very personable and understanding and in my opinion, has went above any beyond for me. I know there have been times I have been nothing but a pest, but he always acts like it is no big deal and is glad to help out with whatever I need. In my experience, it is hard to find an attorney that really cares, but the people at Kain & Scott actually do!

Filing for bankruptcy can be a hard and confusing process, Kain & Scott made the process so much easier than I thought it would be. They were very kind and understanding. Before the process even started they made sure that I understood everything about it. They update with any new information regarding my case. They are a wonderful group of people to work with.

In the months leading up to me filing bankruptcy, I didn't have a lot of good things happen. Just before filing bankruptcy my mother passed away from pancreatic cancer, at the same time my girlfriend of five years also left me. A few days later I walked in the Kain & Scott. Most of the time you going to the lawyers office you just feel they're there to represent you and take money. But that wasn't the case here, if you days after my first office visit I received a letter in my mail from them.
