Kirkham law office went to bat for me like a boss!! After taking my fee they realized my case was a little more involved than expected. I was notified of this and that it would take more time and work yet my fee remained the same. I would refer anybody considering this crew of professionals. They are courteous friendly and helpful and I am grateful to the staff that patiently and promptly handled all of my questions as the judicial system dragged their feet processing my case.

Did not have a good experience. Even though I "won" my case. Mr. Kirkham puts all the paperwork side of things on employees that are not properly trained. It's no wonder they don't stick around long.

I would highly recommend kirkham law! I was being charged with possession of a controlled substance for a used pipe that was on the passenger floor of my vehicle. I had absolutely no knowledge whatsoever if this thing was cooperative, let them search my vehicle which they never found anything else. They let me go and then ten months later I get a summons to appear in the mail for a felony drug charge! James did an awesome job and won my case saving me from being a felon for something I didn't do! Be aware of who and what is in your vehicle at all times, nobody ever admitted to having l left this thing in my vehicle but it almost cost me a whole lifetime of grief! Thank you james!

Needing an attorney is never a pleasant experience, made worse by the extremely high cost. However, James Kirkham is the exception and not the rule. Not only is he effective, he got us a better deal than we thought possible. As far as value; he's worth EVERY PENNY. I can't believe I'd ever say that about an attorney but it's completely true. Contested two commercial traffic tickets today that were unrelated and James got me out of both of them. I felt the price was extremely reasonable especially when you consider what the alternative would be if you represent yourself and fail.

Today as I sat to wait my turn in court I watched a lady try and represent herself but because she wasn’t studied in the law, she couldn’t articulate her point in the proper fashion for it to be “heard” by the court... after she left a few people took deferrals and I was the last defendant (present) in the court room, and I sat stunned as I watched a lawyer come in and argue, the concise version of what the lady was trying to say earlier in a different case, and then get the tickets thrown out because he knew the lingo. This wasn’t James or my case but gave me confidence that hiring the lawyer gave me best odds.

When it came my turn and I had some untypical tickets, James argued both of them and even though the DA didn’t “feel” one of those should be thrown out, the judge ultimately sided with us because James clearly articulated what the law “said” and could articulate in a way the judge “heard”. Goes to show having someone in your corner is worth every penny. I know paying a lawyer might seem like a risk, where he could fail, and then you’re on the hook for both the ticket and lawyer fees. If you consider the value you receive, when you win the risk is worth every penny. In my case, no tickets on my record and then not having to pay the state somewhere near $500, and no increase to my insurance premiums (btw that’s not just auto insurance but life insurance becomes more expensive with traffic tickets as well).

I have had the privilege of hiring Mr. Kirkham more than a few times, I say privilege, because he performs in such a professional, yet personal way, that it becomes just that, a privilege.
As an attorney, he is extremely knowledgeable, ,works very hard for his clients and always does a great job. I have used other attorneys and I have to say that Mr. Kirkham is definitely one of the very best.

I have true appreciation for the way that they all went out of their way to help me, I called just with an inquiry and without having any expectations from them they took a chance on me. You know that split second, when your whole life gets turned upside down. Well unfortunately if you’re looking for a lawyer your probably experiencing this hardship. I screwed up royally and hired James as a criminal defense lawyer. This man fought tooth and nail on my case and battled the state in my defense. He spent countless nights, staying up, reviewing my case and studying the dynamics as we prepared for trial. Two weeks we fought back and forth. The first trail was declared a mistrial seeing as the jury could not decide on a verdict. I Hired James again for the second trial thinking I would be getting the same great lawyer I started with, but I was wrong. This man over prepared for the second trial and the state was tightening the screws hard, they lowered the charges in hopes of obtaining a conviction, and after almost a year and a half judgment day arrived. Now, i knew there was literally no way I would ever get out of my charges scot free, but the amount of time served could be swayed. I just had no idea the scale could be tipped this much. This man had reduced my sentence time by 83%. Highly recommend in my book! not to mention he was very fair priced with other lawyers between the 50-100k range I think James did this for me for around 7k. We agreed to more, however he told me not to worry about it and keep my chin up from here. Great man, Great lawyer with a Great attitude.

I hired Mr. Kirkham to get me off a misdemeanor charge. When I showed up to my hearing he had no clue what evidence the prosecution had against me and pretty much did the same work a public defender could've done for free. I fired him on the spot in the court room, went in front of the judge and asked for a later date so I could seek appropriate council. Save your money and get a public defender, they'll put in more work than anyone at this firm would do.

Worst Attorney! Don't ever hire! Never returns calls, never informs his client with changes or any kind of progress or updates! The only thing u can count on, if hiring this Attorney, is him taking your $ and providing nothing in return. U r better off representing yourself!
