Horrible representation, if you want to call this representation. I hired Anna Goettl to represent me in my divorce. After dragging her feet and costing me a large sum of money, she quit and I was transferred to Adam Shelton. Adam Shelton was arrogant and rude. I had to argue with him and repeatedly remind him that he was representing me and I was paying him. It also seemed that he had more cases than he could handle. In the end, I paid Evergreen close to $6,000, while I was doing most the work. Then I had to ask them to withdraw and represent myself at the last minute as my divorce finalized, because they were asking for and additional $10,000 to continue. At this point, Adam told me he would continue to be a resource, but when I had a question, he never returned my email. In addition, they filed my child support order 4 months after I asked them too, costing me even more money. I was extremely disappointed.
Due to the incompetency of the lawyers at this firm, I lost far more than the $6,000 I paid them, and also had to do the footwork myself. I would not recommend this law firm.

I recently used Evergreen legal services to take care of a collision claim. They did exactly what they said they would and resolved it quickly and without trouble. In the past I worked with Tacoma injury law group and was very dissatisfied with the follow through and the duration of the claim (3yrs.) I had none of these issues working with Evergreen, it was resolved to my satisfaction in just months and I was able to put it all behind me quickly.
If I am in need in of legal assistance in the future I will definitely call on the evergreen legal team.

The most unprofessional handling of a legal matter I have ever encountered. I hired Evergreen Law Office, and specifically Anna Goetti to handle my child support issue. She assured me it would be routine and simple. After 8 months of foot-dragging, including Anna's explanation that she wasn't allowed to contact my ex-husband because he didn't have representation, and her suggestion that I collect all his financial information myself (why did I hire a lawyer then?) I was informed that she was moving to another state, but would handle my case remotely. Then I was informed by Adam Shelton's office that my case was being dropped because Anna "quit and we don't do that type of case anymore". Samantha, the receptionist, was incredibly rude when I called to find out what was happening and said "Well, things have changed" when I told her this was not what they had represented. They refunded $300 of my $2000 retainer and said "Good Luck".My case was dismissed due to this poor handling, and I have lost any hope of correcting it. I have had 2 lawyers review the facts after this, and both, within 15 minutes were able to tell me that the case had several complicating matters (jurisdictional issues) that required additional legal skill to manage, and that Anna should have known and advised me of this immediately. Additionally, they said Adam should have as well, since she was an attorney with his firm and he was ultimately responsible for her work. They stated that this was a failure to provide competent legal counsel, and advised me to file a complaint with the WA state bar association, which I am doing. Be warned - this law firm is not competent, professional or polite.

My family and I were dissatisfied with the representation we received by Anna Goettl from Evergreen Law. In my official termination letter I thanked the office for all their hard work and dedication but that we saw it best to go a different route. After my letter was sent, we were immediately harassed by Adam Shelton with numerous phone calls and unwanted emails. Adam demanded that I delete my previous one star rating. My family and I did not deserve to be treated this way. If the company didn’t deserve a one star rating before, they most certainly do now!
