This is definitely a law firm who is interested in taking care of their clients. It is a nice office and is in a easily accessible building and parking lot. My lawyer and staff are very competent people who understand SSI law and the judges that they are dealing with. It is nice to have someone help you through the extremely difficult process of applying for disability.

Jamie was wonderful in setting up my will and durable power of attorney. Estate planning is an overwhelming topic, and she does it with ease and care. The office atmosphere is warm and inviting; you won't find another place so welcoming. Jamie was always punctual and respectful of my time.

My neighbor was having problems navigating the bureaucracy that is the VA. His claim had been backlogged for years, despite having asbestosis caused by working on Navy submarines. I recommended he call Halpern & Olivares. He thanked me after this appointment, and said he received an incredible amount of information from Mark Bean. He was impressed with the level of institutional knowledge this firm has on VA claims.

After my daughter got turned down twice for SSI disability benefits for her heart condition which is right in the SSI Compassion list we turned to Jaime Olivares for help. Best decision we ever did. She is very compassionate, knowledgeable and bonded with my daughter right away. She helped my daughter through her anxieties and tears and took her case. With Jaimie’s help Nikki got the benefits she deserved after a long battle in which most people would have given up. We feel that Jaime is the best!! We just got a letter that SS wanted to reevaluate Nikki after 3 years and we called Jaime and she told us exactly what to do. Nikki was approved again! If it wasn’t for Jaime none of this would have happened. If you need help with your SSI I would highly recommend Jaime and her staff. They are excellent!

This is not the place to go if you are serious about needing your ssi or ssdi benefits, this place is a scam setup by an old man who has friends at ssi. The closest way to explain what they offer is more like a public defender. Especially this little girl they appointed me to stand up to a judge, you’ve been warned

My lawyer left mid case. I was assigned another one. Unprofessional to be called the evening before your court appearance and asked exactly, " so what is it we were trying to go for?". Um? We met in the office last week and went over this. They did try to accommodate and gave me another lawyer who got stuck trying to catch up on my whole case in one night. I did appreciate the effort of that.
