I reached out to Mr Erspmer on a recommendation from a friend. I called his office about my situation with an SSDI case and an attorney I parted ways with and I was looking to retain his services for said case. I spoke to the receptionist and set up a time to meet and discuss the case.
I am homebound due to disability and don't drive, I am flat broke, I arraigned a ride with a local non profit and made the 50.8 mile one way trip. I got there and had what was less than a five minute meeting and found out he had some misinformation and he told me I am retiring soon and your case would take longer than I plan on practicing!
He wished me the best and sent me on my way... If his receptionist had told me he was retiring I would have never traveled 100 miles round trip in poor weather and would have looked elsewhere.
The communication between office staff and attorney is somewhat questionable.
