I have been able to work with Shawn. He is very professional. He has helped me out of some situations that could if I did not have some one like Shawn I would have made some bad decisions. I had a small claim that needed to be filed and Slingshot did an amazing job! The process couldn’t have been easier and the communication was perfect.

Bad experience. Not recommended. Was rude, doubled the original estimate for a basic prenumptual, and wanted a retainer to prepare the document (when I offered to pay up front in full).

I spoke with shawn about a basic prenuptial and was told $250. I spoke with him the following week and he raised the cost to $500. Nothing had changed, so why double the quote? I reminded him of the original quote and he said he would honor $250 and asked I email him. I submitted my information and offered to come into his office to pay and sign an agreement. He gave me attitude and was rude demanding a $500 retainer that would be used towards the Prenupial but he was not clear on how much the document would cost and said the retainer was separate and might not cover the "estimate." Shawn is not an attorney, he is a document preparer,  so bill for the document. Why does a document preparer need a retainer? Retaining him for what?
