Wonderful people, place for those that cannot afford to hire an attorney! They are helpful, attentive & knowledgeable. They dont handle every type of law, but if you call they will help you any way they can! Be patient with your initial call. It generally takes a couple days to hear back! They are very busy!

Since 2008, I have been a victim of mental health malpractice of The Howard in Burlington. Not only has the hospital refused to treat these injuries, but Scott Allan and Hayden of the Howard was able to convince everyone I was delusional to cover up malpractice, at the hospital. I have suffered permanent eye and intestinal injuries, major heart surgeries and no longer have a musical career or a life The sad thing was many times I have reached out to Legal Aid and they have refused to do anything to help me. Burlington is the only place I have lived where no one will stick up for you and leaves you to die, even if I have been kind to alot of takers here. They would not get records or talk to anyone. One told me to go back to Utica NY where I am from.

It depends on the type of case U bring in.

Caring agencies refer me to Legal Aide and the woman at the phone, Sue, is rude and refuses to do an intake. Sue says they never help dv victims. Sue says they do not help with bad landlords or anything. Sue is a gatekeeper and unprofessional. She makes the agency look very bad. What is the point of being a 'free attorney agency" if you don't help anyone and refuse to answer questions?
