I was a client of this law firm over 20 years ago. The attorney that handled my case was very rude, showed up to appointments with alcohol on his breath and just downright disrespectful. This attorney told me on several occasions that I had no chance of winning my case. He didn't believe a word I said and his work seriously reflected that. I ended up having to take a plea bargain because he made me feel like I had no other choice. The attorney informed me that I had to lie at my acceptance hearing because if I told the truth the judge wouldn't accept my plea. I ended up going to prison. My family paid over 6k for this specific law office because they had the best reputation in town. Trust me, all they want is your money and they will tell you what you want to hear to get it.

I don't understand this at all. I have always thought mccurdy and wotilla were upstanding best of the best, name drop worthy attorneys. Until they "represented me" in court. Absolutely horrible. If you want an attorney that does not care what so ever about you or your situation, ask for Patrick. He'll take care of you. Hiring my own attorney. Because unfortunately the one the courts appointed to me isn't doing a very good job at all. He's very rude. Unprofessional. Very sloppy. No compassion what so ever and didn't care what needed to happen. Him and his buddy from the opposing side were not interested in being bothered with the details that could potentially save my son's life. The girl up front with the bright red hair that you can't miss was incredibly rude also. Everyone there was actually. And they apparently do not own a printer. Never gave me a copy of the court order, and everything the attorney said would happen isn't. The exact opposite is happening actually. I have a CERTIFIED service animal that both my attorney and the guardian ad litem (if that is even what he really is. Literally laughing out loud) refused to let me bring him in the court room even tho I had just flown into Michigan from Florida for court. With my sick dying CERTIFIED service animal. Against medical advice. The way he acted was completely unnecessary and incredibly cruel. Even after disproving the LIES that were written in the court report by child services as well as my runaway 15 year old, they still appeared in my summons for court order I received today. So. I'm not really sure exactly what his job title is or what his duties include. I'm not an attorney. But. To be fair, neither is he. Spend the extra money for a good attorney. Or throw it away by hiring this firm.
