I had to repeat my self to him numerous times including in court. Send him emails for things I told him in person that he couldn’t remember and then he would ask me about later that he should have remembered as they were things I saw him wrote down or things I gave him proof of. Which then, due to me having to email him all of this over agin, cost me more money. Or he would call me and ask me things that we had gone over previously as well. My bill was double what it should have been due to his lack of memory or not paying attention. I wouldn’t recommend at all. Now he’s asking to pay almost $9k for something that is all basically email and phone communication back and forth when it’s stuff he had the answers to the entire time. WASTE OF MONEY! Go to someone younger that takes good notes, I should have realized when he was confused during the consult. He messed up my husbands name and my ex’ name (my kids father) in the consult. He called him the wrong name. We were doing a custody battle so he had the court document us vs him, and he kept calling my husband the other name. Like why would I be there with the person I was going to court against? Very unprofessional.

I've worked directly with Tom Parins for the better part of seven years, and he has been very helpful with his guidance and input on many items, from contracts to navigating the issues that come up in our day to day business. His counsel has helped me tremendously. Tom is nonjudgmental, concise, and does really well identifying benefits and any unintended consequences of each issue we work on. He has been very receptive to giving me his thoughts on many items, and I recommend him to anyone in the area looking for an attorney.

I have relied on Parins Law Firm, and Attorney Tom Parins in particular, for close to two decades, for both personal and business purposes. He is without question the best attorney in the Green Bay area, and I have dealt with many. Most don’t know how to return a phone call in a timely manner.

Tom is highly educated, highly experienced and has protected my interests very well in multiple business and civil transactions. He is also the epitome of professional and won't respond to snarky online reviews due to attorney-client privilege. If you need legal advice, you will find his process very straight forward. He will 1) listen attentively to learn the full details 2) inform you about the law regarding your issue or goal, and 3) Clearly inform you about your options so that you may choose the course most appropriate to your situation. He has my highest recommendation.

Approximately 3 years ago I was in the process of being pushed out of my bar business; very stressful time. I called for the assistance of Tom to make sure all loose ends were covered. After several email exchanges between myself, Tom and Amys attourney, I finally signed what seemed to be a legit purchase agreement. About 8 monhs later I went to purchase a house and found out I was still attached to the business credit card. This card had a $5,000 balance when I signed off and its now over $8,000. I immediately closed the account. I went thru a few months of battles with the underwriters to remove my name from the account, to no avail. Like I stated earlier, it was a very stressful situation and I'd think that my lawyer would think to tell me that the business credit card needs to be paid before I sign off on the business. It was an LLC , I may have been naïve how the whole thing worked but I can't imagine this was toms first time dealing with a business dissolution. To this day I have to wait every month to see if shes making the payment. I tried to reach out to tom regarding this and his answer to me was "kris, theres no way to relieve you of a third party agreement." He's wrong and he should have known to insist amy pay it off or get it transferred to her name only. This hangs over my head monthly and will continue for years as shes only making minimum payments. $5,700 to go. From a very frustrated customer!!!!
