It is extremely un-ordinary that I write a one star review for any company but unfortunately my experience with this law firm have been anything but ordinary. Without going into too many specifics let me say that my family hired this law firm to represent us in a rather simple and unremarkable matter. We paid this firm what I thought was a substantial retainer to start our case. We started with one attorney whose hourly rate was exorbitant and he spend a few hours getting to know our case which cost us over $1,000 then this particular individual decided that it would be best that our case be handled by another attorney whose hourly rate was even higher and we had to pay nearly $1300 this time for the second attorney to come up to speed and sadly that was the beginning of the troubles, the entire process was carried through in a highly incompetent an unprofessional manner. The Attorney who was helping us would make mistake after mistake and spend more and more time correcting himself all the while billing us at a rate of about $300 an hour. Also, there were numerous billing errors made during our time of being represented by this firm. During one particular billing error I had to provide the firm with proof of my most recent retainer replenishment because they simply lost all records of my payment to them even though they deposited the check I provided them. Ultimately, I decided to cut my losses and find a more qualified and professional law firm which is where I am now. However, to this day Gerbers Law refuses to reimburse us for the unused portion of our retainer even though we are no longer using them. if you need an attorney please do yourself a favor and save yourself a very large head ache and STEER CLEAR of these folks. You will find many other lawyers out there who will treat you with more respect and dignity than this firm will. I am currently in the process of contacting the state bar and filing a complaint against these firm.

Terry Gerbers is among the best attorneys in the region. He not only helped with the tedious and important tasks with the startup of my small business, but was also there every step of the way, as needed, through the first several years. An extremely experienced and confident professional, he quickly relieved (what were unfounded) concerns about extraneous related matters involving a former employer. He has also been tremendously helpful with several commercial real estate investments that my husband and I have been involved in through the years, with excellent outcomes in our favor. I would recommend him to anyone facing a challenging case that needs a timely resolution.

Nick was extremely quick to action and easy to work with. His other team members were also very helpful in making sure everyone was on the same page and kept things moving.

by far the worst, dishonest, mistake prone, filled with lies service. if you want your email to be charged $90ish or $180ish, please contact them. If you want their mistakes to be billed, please contact them. Do you want a sloppy, delayed, forgetful, incompetent staff? please contact them. Do you want , for the tons of money you pay, your email answered 5 business days later? contact them. Incorrect billing, weird junk email stories and for many more, contact them.Are you free and happy in life? oh, where is the fun, contact them. Yes, i am writing this at 645am on a saturday morning, thanks Gerbers. I wanted to add this - for all the money i burnt, funnily, i dont even have a proper house purchase amendment document ! did they prepare ? do they have it and not sent? hmmm, maybe i should pay more. IF you ask how much your current invoice is, he responds, its little over the quoted price:) and then says, oh i did not check when i answered you ! isnt this awesome

Terry Gerbers and Ross Kornowske and the WHOLE Gerbers Law office were very PROFESSIONAL and KNOWABLE. Gerbers Law took the time to explain the process in terms we could understand. You guys really were very patient with us.
