We retained Heather as she was recommended by a family friend who was also Heather's boyfriend the finance manager at the firm once that relationship between Heather and Steven ended she wanted to drop our case or To stay on it charge us now full price which was not the original contracted agreement ... If I would've known that this law firm was that unprofessional to let personal issues affect a business relationship I never would've had my daughter go there especially now that she's in the middle of her court hearings but like they say everything happens for a reason!

Biggest joke of a law firm in the Green Bay Area. Heather signed a retainer agreement in the amount of $1500. A discounted rate due to the fact that she had her boyfriend, Steve, handling the financial aspects of her law firm and Steve was a family friend of ours.
Fast forward a few months later and her boyfriend/financial advisor is incarcerated due to issues between him and Heather and is fired from her firm.
After this happened, all of the sudden she didn’t want to represent me on my case anymore unless I paid her the regular price of her service— 3x what I had agreed to on our contract; And at this point in time I had just had a newborn baby, premature by four weeks. Somehow she expected me to come up with an additional $3000 if I wanted her on my case. At this point due to her unprofessionalism it was definitely not in my best interest to keep her anyway. Outside of the money she did receive from me, losing Heather as an attorney was not a huge loss on my part. Not only is Heather an extremely dull and unpleasant person to work with— she’s also inexperienced and cannot return simple phone calls or schedule meetings with her own clients— she just refers you to her secretary for any legal advice or questions.
Heather is way too busy handling her huge case load that she takes on and then cannot keep up with to be personable whatsoever or do her job correctly.
On my last court date where I still had her representing me she showed up FORTY FIVE minutes late. This wasn’t the first time she showed up late to a hearing of mine.
DO NOT RECOMMEND. She will allow her personal issues with her boyfriend to get in the way of doing her job as an attorney. I should’ve known better when I googled the place when I’d first retained her and there was ONE STAR. Personal reviews are everything and this goes to show why.

Great Lawyer, very established in the area, many recourses & contacts. She is just a great person all the way around. You will feel confident in her professionalism as well as the piece of mind knowing she cares. HLR law has been nothing but helpful and reassuring, I’ve never had any problems with communication. In fact communication has been great, there has never been a problem with getting through to them. The price was very reasonable, Heather and her assistant work great with visiting their clients and making sure everything is in place for upcoming court dates. I would definitely recommend HLR Law to anyone!

Attorney Heather Richmond was my child's fathers attorney for his child support contempt case. She was an absolute embarrassment in the court room, even said his name wrong at one point. She clearly had no idea what she was doing in this field, she did not give documents child support repeatedly asked for. She did this all for free because his girlfriend works for her. I would highly not recommend using her for any family law issues.
