My girlfriend just got off the phone with this attorney and they don't want to represent us because they haven't met us and are afraid we won't pay them because we currently live out of state but obviously have ties to Wassau. We have the ability to pay upfront for their services. But check this out... if this is an attorney who gets screwed by people that don't pay them all the time and therefore can't trust us to pay them, how could I trust that they would be competent to stand up for my rights when they can't stand up for their own? Maybe just say "We're not taking clients at this time" instead of offending potential customers.
