I've had a few lawyers over the years and Fran fought harder than anyone else. D.A's are quick to charge domestic abuse charges and common sense deaf when it comes to doing the right thing. Not only did Fran do a great job standing up for me but he never tried to convince me to take a plea... instead he prepared for trial and stuck it to the D.A. every step of the way. Most attorneys in his shoe go for the easy route and he did the exact opposite... in the end he won the trial and allowed me to walk out of the courtroom with my head held high instead. Domestic abuse is a serious offense and our system is too quick to brand offenders with this label. I would never lay a hand on a women and he did a great job helping me through a tough situation.
