New York grit with Minnesota nice. Elliot looked at every aspect of my situation, analyzed all of the information that I missed or didn’t understand, came up with an action plan and then came up with a backup plan in less time than I spent on the phone with Comcast customer support. He’s like Spock but with a handsome beard and no pointy ears. My wife and ex-wife used to hate each other but now they talk on the phone for hours everyday about how “handsome: and “sophisticated” Elliot. Nutshell: Upon his entry into the court waiting area, prosecutors scrambled in terror for the exits, overturning IKEA tables and chairs. Once they realized they didn’t have to go up against him, calmness resumed. A hush fell and a light from heaven followed him as he walked into the court room, white doves perching on his shoulders. Elliot was so quick in successfully convincing the judge to show leniency that In-N-Out Burger wants to name a burger after him. Upon our victorious exit, racoons, rabbits and squirrels followed him to his car waving American flags, rejoicing that compassion and fairness are still alive in this country. The entire building came outside to wave him goodbye as Sam Smith music played in the background. The gavel used during the hearing is now a national treasure and sits guarded on a satin pillow in the Dakota County Judicial Center lobby. If anyone is looking for a good lawyer, I would strongly suggest that you don’t retain the services of Michael Cohen! Call Elliot Nickell instead.

Elliott has defended me twice now. I came back to Elliott because I can trust him, he's organized, diligent and smart. Elliott isn't one of the lawyers who is intimidating or aggressive. He has his own way of presenting arguments that works. Let's be honest, a lot of the outcome depends on your case but a good lawyer is going to give you a better chance. I'd at least give Elliott a call at the soonest possible moment if you think you need legal services to at least get his opinion of the case. He'll listen and in my experience, will understand.

Confident, smart and thorough. Always got back to me with any questions I had and always reassured me. Elliott was invested from day 1 in my case and the outcome showed, as I received the sentence we had hoped and planned for. Best hire and money spent. Thank you Elliott.
Working closely with Mr. Nickell, I can attest to his command of the law, his unique understanding defense strategy, and his ability to advocate zealously for his clients. I routinely recommend Mr. Nickell to people seeking quality representation for criminal and personal injury cases.
