While I wholeheartedly support the prosecution of anyone and everyone accused of sexual misconduct, I find it reprehensible that such horrific accusations be made public before officially filing a legal complaint, disallowing the accused the right to a swift and fair trial, effectually putting his life on hold, while allowing such blatant character assassination to go on in news releases and behind closed doors for now even more than a year. Justice does not persecute the innocent until proven guilty. I think it is a miscarriage of justice to "sit on a case" no matter the final outcome. If you want to help, truly, why would you not want bring this to an end?
