My husband was on probation when he got his second felony DWI, and was facing up to 8 years in prison. He had a terrible experience with the first attorney he hired when he got his first felony DWI, and sat in jail for a year with no work release.

Scott was able to get him 90 days of home confinement, for his 2nd Felony DWI without spending a single day in jail!!! It wasn’t cheap, but Scott was worth every penny!

I have known Scott Lewis for nearly 30 years and when I have needed legal help, his advice and counsel is always good. His vast experience in criminal defense makes him one of the top attorney in the entire Minneapolis 7 county area.

You'd think him working with state cases so long he'd be a dependable and great attorney, but you're basically paying a price for a public defender. He works for the state and doesn't have your best intrest in mind. He's unprofessional and you'd be surprised if you see him again after the check is cashed because he has so many "assistants" that show up for court. Usually I'd say you get what you pay for, but in this case you get a LOT LOT less. Not worth the time or money. Get a PD if you don't have money and get some new else if you do.
